Within Tutorial A, we have a mission and vision to restore the tourism industry in Lake Toba, Indonesia. We conducted both primary and secondary analysis for this project. The primary research method that we chose is online questionnaire through Google Forms. It is still currently ongoing as we strive to enquire a total sample frame of 100 participants with possibly around 50:50 ratio of Indonesians and non- Indonesians. The survey is made in order to give us a better understanding on what kind of factors that are affecting people in their decision-making regarding the destinations they would like to go to. Furthermore, we conducted secondary analysis on journal articles and government websites to improve our acknowledgement regarding the conditions and circumstances in Lake Toba. The conclusive results is yet to be found for our primary analysis. The secondary results shown us that deforestation in Lake Toba is gradually getting worse so in order to countermeasure this, we came up with a recommended implementation of a separate legal entity to monitor these situations. Furthermore, through secondary analysis, we came up with the idea of getaway cottages to revitalize the industry.
