Tourism business is very important for a country, it may create employment for people of the country and increase the income used to develop the infrastructure and services. The purpose of this research report is focusing on the tourism development in Sarawak. The primary and secondary research method are using in this research report, such as survey, journal article, news, and government website information. Sarawak is the largest state of Malaysia located at the East Malaysia on the island of Borneo. It has plenty of tourism resources to offer such as nature and cultural based resources which have yet to be fully explored, it is the opportunity that for Sarawak to develop its tourism. Before that, through the SWOT, PESTE and demand and supply analysis we found that there are some things the government of Sarawak need to make improve for development on its tourism. That includes public transportations, utilities, pollution of environment, communication skill of the local people, lumbering, internet service, information technology (advertising and marketing) and the high hotel service quality provide for tourist. Followed by the research, we have provided with some recommendations in long-term and short-term strategy in our conclusion.
