High Contact VS Low Contact in Education Team Members (from left to right): Lalita Tank, Zhu Miao, Liang Junjie, Sanya Sunil & Xu Ye

The aim of doing the survey was to a) investigate students’ preference between High Contact Service (face to face learning) and Low Contact Service (online learning), b) to establish whether moving from high contact service to low contact service in education is viable and c) to test our hypothesis and get answers for our research questions. Our survey was conducted online using Qualtrics platform targeting students majoring in BBUS Marketing, BBUS Management and BIT. As opposed to our expectation that high contact to low contact is possible in education, the survey results prove that high contact is important in education. The results are not a surprise when we understand that the students have responded with their graduation point of view for majority of the questions and for questions specific to further or additional studies most students showed inclination towards online learning. Importance of high contact service in critical education has been established owing to its benefits and richer learning experience.
