This research involves strategy for Lake Toba to be a sustainable tourism place in the future. This is our team: Wei Hong, Welly Kencana and Zhao Siyu. The main reason that makes Lake Toba a tourist place is the beauty of the natures in Lake Toba, mountains and the lakes, but the main problem of Lake Toba to be a sustainable tourism place is the polluted water in the Lake Toba that reduces the beauty of Lake Toba. So, in this article, the solutions are clearer and lead the government to the brighter future for Lake Toba as tourism place. In 2016, millions of fish in Lake Toba died suddenly, the reason is the fishes were lacking oxygen because the water are polluted. Local fish farmers are using floating cages, which is the source of the water pollution in Lake Toba. The next step is developing the potential tourism market of Lake Toba – Samosir island.
